John Walker Receives 2016 Thrush-Warren Award

Congratulations to FBI Norfolk CAAA member John Walker, 2016 recipient of the Thrush-Warren Achievement Award. John was recognized at the chapter’s annual New Year Kick-off Celebration on January 19 at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.

The Thrush-Warren Achievement Award was established in October 2013 and recognizes a FBI Norfolk Citizens Academy Alumni Association member that drives social change through extraordinary leadership and service in support of the FBI’s mission and outreach initiatives. The award is named for two of the Norfolk Chapter’s early founders, supporters and community leaders, Donald “Doc” Thrush and Francis L. “Bud” Warren, Jr.

John Walker, a Hampton Roads native, is the founder and CEO of Cinema Café. He has generously supported the Chapter’s fundraising events, participated in community service programs, and served on the board of directors. John is a 2010 graduate of the FBI Norfolk Citizens Academy.
