Deputy U.S. Marshal Andy Recker Meets with FBI Norfolk CAAA Membership

14 May 2026 5:25 PM | Karen Corrigan (Administrator)

Deputy U.S. Marshal Andy Recker was the featured speaker for FBI Norfolk CAAA's May 13, 2026 Membership Meeting held at United Jewish Federation of Tidewater.

During his talk, he described the role of the U.S. Marshals Service, the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency responsible for supporting the federal justice system and protecting the integrity of the courts. Among its mission priorities are apprehending fugitives, protecting federal judges and witnesses, managing and transporting federal prisoners, seizing assets tied to criminal activity, and assisting state and local law enforcement agencies in major investigations and public safety operations.

Deputy Marshal Recker, who is assigned to the Eastern District, has served with the U.S. Marshals Service for 16 years.
