FBI Norfolk CAAA members and guests enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at Norfolk International Airport, one of the region's busiest transportation hubs. Representatives from Airport Police (and police K-9 services), TSA, Federal Air Marshals, Airport Emergency Services, and other airport operations provided an inside look at how they work together to keep travelers safe while ensuring the airport operates smoothly and efficiently.

They also shared information about the airport's extensive renovation and modernization efforts, and how these improvements will enhance the travel experience and prepare Norfolk International Airport for the future.

The visit included a tour of a TSA checkpoint and a closeup look at one of the Airport's Fire Department vehicles, where they learned more about emergency response operations.
